Ground Investigation works at Swansea Station are complete after a combination of night shifts, day shifts, road closures and rail possessions. Works were completed on programme and on budget thanks to fantastic efforts by all involved. Pleasure working with Alun Griffiths Contractors’ Rail Division.
We set up an impressive scaffold arrangement to implement rotary boreholes investigating landslides on a river bank in Caerleon using our Commachio 300 rig on behalf of Newport County Council. The photo shows Garry Blades Jnr and Neil Williams in action.
£180,000 ground investigation works at Swansea Station are underway, working for our Client and Project PC Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd – Rail Division. Works are progressing well with CP drilling, Rotary drilling, CPTs, over 300 Masonry cores, hand inspection pits, window sampling, UXO surveying and GPR surveying. End of August completion. Local work for local companies.
