    British Construction Industry Awards 2018

    Fantastic news…Quantum Geotechnical shortlisted in the 2018 BCI Awards category ‘Exporting Expertise Initiative of the Year’ for our works done on the Mount Coffee Hydrodam in Liberia. Winners announced at the Awards dinner in London in October. Fingers crossed!

    Ground Investigation Works for Nant Cwm Parc Footway

    Ground investigation works for Nant Cwm Parc Footway upgrade works at Treorchy get the green light. GI works to commence end of June/ early July on behalf of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council with the scheme engineers, Capita Symonds.

    Quantum get £86,000 ground investigation works underway at Dolwen Reservoir in Denbighshire on behalf of our Client, Skanska Utilities. 4 week site works period with some challenging access points requiring some impressive scaffold structures. Continuing our excellent relationship with Skanska and DCWW.

    Cwmavon Soil Nailing

    Soil nailing works at Cwmavon, Port Talbot, are well underway following a significant landslide in January 2018. Working on behalf of Neath Port Talbot County Council (NPTCBC), the rope access element of the works has progressed well with TEI Mast drilling works to commence shortly. Excellent relationships and support from NPTCBC and nearby residents. We are proud to deliver local projects and enhance public safety.

    Quantum has achieved 100% in their 2018-2019 UVDB B2 Verify Audit for the second year in a row. Excellent work by all parties involved.

    Week Ford Bridge

    Significant progress has been made at our Week Ford bridge project in Bude. Our Geo-Contracting team have completed all foundation works and are currently constructing formwork for the new road bridge deck followed by bespoke stone masonry finish to the bridge abutments. A challenging project which is delivering excellent results.
